Wales High School’s modern languages department took a group of students from Years Seven to Nine on a trip to four-day Paris.

“We enjoyed a Seine River cruise where we saw a variety of landmarks along the way,” said Year Nine student Maddie Duck.

“We also had the opportunity to experience going up the Eiffel Tower – which gave us an amazing sight over Paris.”

“Seeing the extremely famous original painting of the Mona Lisa was also a highlight.”

“We also visited the Sacre Coeur then the Montmartre,” added Year Eight student Max Lennor.

“It was really busy afterwards when we went to the shops where we tried some French food and bought presents for our families back home.”

“We then went to the Montparnasse tower which towered way over the Eiffel tower.”

“It was a 56-storey skyscraper and we went up in a in a very fast lift as it only took a few seconds to reach the top,” continued Maddie

“Finally, we went to the Stade de France Stadium where we had the unique opportunity to see inside the rugby players changing rooms.”

“The guide was really funny too,” added Max.

“I had a really great time in France and I’d like to thank the staff that made this brilliant trip happen,” Maddie concluded.
