TRAVEL

Chancery Lane in Retford closed northbound at the West Street junction, because of roadworks.

WHAT’S ON

Worksop Farmers Market on Bridge Street. Support your local producers who have an excellent range of fresh healthy food that tastes great.

There are all kinds of meat, fruit and veg, mushrooms, cheeses, honey, cakes, chilli sauces, preserves, bread, herbs, flour and more besides with the focus firmly on local produce.

The focus is firmly on local produce. Around 20 stalls take part each month, with stallholders travelling from within a 40 - 50 mile radius of Worksop. There is usually a family member or someone who has been involved in growing the produce, on the stall, to answer any questions.

DAILY JOKE

Teacher: What do you call a short pschic who escaped from prison?
