Two hospitalised after crash in Worksop

Two people were taken to hospital after a crash in Worksop last night.

Police and firefighters were called after a collision involving a Honda and a Land Rover on Blyth Road at the junction with Hundred Acre Lane just before 8.20pm on Sunday (January 22).

A man in the Land Rover was taken to hospital with leg injuries. A spokesman for Nottinghamshire Police said his injuries were not thought to be serious.

In the Honda, a woman was taken to Doncaster Hospital with chest pains and a man suffered minor facial injuries.

The road was back open at 10.10pm after being blocked off.

Both vehicles were recovered.

The county council were informed.

No arrest were made.
