CINEMA-GOERS are in for a treat as Trinity Arts Centre has lined up some excellent films for the coming weeks - including the classic Forbidden Planet, hilarious Huge and sassy Bridesmaids.

On Saturday 27th August at 12pm, the late Leslie Nielson stars in the Films for Families showing of Forbidden Planet. Tickets are £3.

Then, on Wednesday 31st August at 7.30pm, there will be a showing of Huge. Directed by Ben Miller of Armstrong and Miller fame, Huge follows the fortune of a comic duo as they slog their way up towards the big time, with cameos from Jo Brand, Harry Hill and Eddie Izzard.

Chick-flick Bridesmaids will be shown on Friday 2nd September at 7.30pm. Proving that women can be just as funny as men in knockabout comedy, Bridesmaids tells the tale of a wedding in Vegas where hell breaks loose.
