Shelly will use her expert knowledge to find out what flavours make you tick and create a special bespoke box of delicious chocolates just for you.

The delightful chocolaterie, patisserie and sweet pantry opened just last week and is already proving a hit with people looking for a wealth of high-quality and delicious goodies.

Said Shelly: “I was born just outside Welbeck and so coming back to my Notts roots means a lot to me,” she said.

“I really want to bring my knowledge I gained during my years in London to this area, and share my passion for chocolate with other people.”

Shelly’s divine creations have won her a legion of fans, including Academy of Chocolate chairman Sara Jayne Stanes.

“I am extremely passionate about good-quality chocolate and Shelly is brilliantly instinctive in the way she blends delicate flavours which do not clash at all. That’s a real skill,” she said.

“A particular favourite of mine is her mint and basil chocolate - it’s extremely unusual and has wonderful flavours.”

In addition to fresh handmade chocolates and truffles, you can expect to find handmade chocolate tarts and individual citrus meringue pies available daily and as fresh as daisies.

You can also sip the decadent eight-hour steeped hot chocolate ans master-blended fine tears while browsing the sweet pantry for luxury ingredients, exclusive plantation chocolates, artisan popcorn and baking books.
