A BIRCOTES woman’s “stupid” behaviour has landed her with a fine.
Worksop Magistrates’ Court heard how Arlene Tinto, 22, of Arundel Walk was with friends in Dorchester Road, Bircotes, on 15th January.
Kate Beardmore, prosecuting, said youths had been causing trouble and police officers using a dispersal order asked everyone to leave and not return.
But Tinto came back five minutes later to get a laptop from her mother’s house.
Defending, Ian Pridham said: “She was aware of the dispersal notice in relation to those streets.”
“She has to accept she should have thought about it.”
Imposing a £120 fine, District Judge Diane Baker said: “This was a very stupid thing for you to do. It has worked out very expensive for you.”
