It was nice to see a proper train at Worksop station for once the other day.

The Lincolnshire Poacher might be over 60-years-old but it is a much finer work of engineering than the rickety old rattlers that usually splutter in and out of our station, ferrying ripped-off and long-suffering commuters to Sheffield and Nottingham.

It was also great to see so many folk turn up to see the grand old beast.
