A care home provider in South Yorkshire has announced a £100 million investment programme for its properties.

HC-One, which runs seven homes in the county, will spend the money on refurbishment and upgrade schemes for its homes.

The firm runs Alexander Court in Crookes, Ascot Lodge in Intake, Blenheim Court in Lane Top and Holmwood in Norton Lees, all in Sheffield.

In runs Silverwood in Sunnyside and Swallownest in Swallownest, both in Rotherham, along with The Beeches in Armthorpe, Doncaster.

Dr Chai Patel, Chairman and Acting Chief Executive Officer, said: “This is a major and significant investment that will upgrade our homes to the next level, creating the best care experience in our sector.
