Residents are being given the chance to have their say on bus services in the area.
Notts County Council is hosting a series of road shows early next month outlining their plans for the North East Bassetlaw area.
They have been working closely with Stagecoach in designing the proposals.
The proposals are a result of a £1.8m reduction to the bus budget, which is part of the overall £154m budget savings the council need to make over the next three years.
Chairman of the transport and highways committee, Coun Kevin Greaves, said:
“The County Council has been reviewing the supported local bus service budget for some time.”
“This is part of the budget efficiencies process which has reduced expenditure on local bus services by 30% to help reduce the Council’s budget deficit of £154m over the next three years.”
“We have had to make some difficult decisions but the overall savings to the Council are in the region of £200,000.”
The roadshow will be at Retford bus station on Thursday 9th October and Friday 10th October.
Feedback has already been received by the council which they are taking into consideration.
