Person cut from car after crash on main Notts road

A person had to be cut free from a car after a crash in Edwinstowe this morning (March 18).

The collision, between a Land Rover and Vauxhall, left a person trapped in their vehicle on the A6075 Ollerton Road at around 9am.

Firefighters from Mansfield and Warsop used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the person from their car.

The person was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police were also called to the incident, which was between Thoresby Colliery and Ollerton roundabout, and put a diversion in place.

The road is now clear.
