Oldcotes: Car roof cut open to save two trapped women

The roof of a car had to be cut open to release two females who had become trapped yesterday afternoon.

Thier Ford Focus car collided with another Focus, on Blyth Road, Oldcotes, outside The King William IV at around 3:30pm on Wednesday 21st May.

Services from Retford, Harworth and a specialist rescue team from Tuxford were in attendance at the scene for more than an hour.

The driver and passenger were both taken to hospital as a precaution.
