COFFEE Morning: The League of Friends of Bassetlaw Hospital are holding a Coffee Morning on Wednesday 4th April at the Masonic Hall, Queen Street, Worksop, 10am-12noon. Women’s Institute: President Ann Morley welcomed members and Mrs Ann-Marie Morley WI Advisor to the March Annual General Meeting. After the correspondence and monthly business the WI Advisor took over for the election of committee and president. Retiring President Ann Morley and Secretary Sue Caryl and committee member Elizabeth Shillito were thanked for their contribution to the WI. There were six nominations for president and Mrs Christine John was elected. The next meeting will be on 5th April at the Cricket Club, Central Avenue, Worksop when the speaker will be on Makeup given by Louise Wilkinson. WORKSOP Wonders WI: We welcome ladies of all ages who are interested in meeting others and making new friends.
