Aldi will re-open its newly extended Worksop store on Thursday, 26th November at 8.00am, with an official ribbon cutting ceremony by Councillor Gwynneth Jones.
The store, on Gateford Road, which originally opened in 1991, has undergone a five month development growing to 1,260sq metres.
As part of Aldi’s community engagement initiative, the store will be making a donation to the 5th Worksop Methodist Brownies on the morning of the re-opening, and will donate a range of Aldi products including treats for the group’s Christmas celebrations.
The store will also be donating a range of products to North Nottinghamshire College to support its catering and beauty courses.
The extension has created around five new jobs for members of the local community. For more information about Aldi’s roles, and how to apply visit www.aldirecruitment.co.uk.
Aldi Store Manager, Teresa Moss said: “The team and I are really pleased with the newly extended store, and we’re sure that the extension will create an improved shopping experience for our customers.
“I’d like to thank everyone for their patience during the development, and we look forward to meeting members of the local community on the morning of the opening.”
Following its re-opening, the store will be open: Monday – Saturday: 8am–10pm. Sunday: 10am-4pm.
