More pupils make their nominations

Pupils across Worksop have been telling their teachers just how much they are appreciated.

Our Best In School Awards highlight the hard work that goes on inside and outside the classroom.

Eight-year-old Olivia Williams from Norbridge Primary School has made this year’s first nomination for the Beat Headteacher category.

She presented Mr George Huthart with his certificate saying: “He is always kind and funny and if I ever have a problem he always helps me to put it right.”

Meanwhile, over at Prospect Hill Junior School, Jack Smith, eight, gave a Best Teacher certificate to Miss Caroline Savage.

“She’s the best teacher because she is very caring and always so helpful,” said Jack.
