A series of Christmas events held in Misterton last weekend has raised over £700 for good causes and get people feeling festive.
All Saints’ Church in the village held a Christmas bingo on the Friday evening, which brought in over £250 towards the upkeep of the church.
And the Saturday saw a Christmas £1 sale in the Parish Church, which raised £350.
It was rounded off with the annual Winter Wassail and carol Service on Sunday.
