The Valley Road school sent a text to parents warning them of an incident that had happened at Prospect around 3.30pm today (Friday May 6), after pupils had left school for the day.

The nature of the incident is currently unknown but, according to the text, police have been made aware.

Reports of pupils being followed and “flashed” by two in the area have been made in the town this year, but it is not known if this incident is linked.

In January, a school girl from Outwood Academy Portland was reportedly followed in the Carlton-in-Lindrick area by two men in a black car.
