In celebration of butcher Crawshaws launching its new Food To Go Butcher’s Kitchen, its Worksop and Retford stores has teamed up with the Guardian in the search for someone who goes that extra mile every Sunday.

From braised beef to roast chicken or minted lamb to ham shank, fresh meat and food to go, Crawshaws is on a mission to find out Who “Boasts the Best Roast” – with a chance to win a meat hamper worth more than £100.

If you know that special someone whose culinary Sunday creations have the X Factor, then they want to hear about him or her.

Whether it is your mum, dad, big brother, or next-door neighbour, tell us in a brief description how they tantalise your taste buds and they could win enough meat for a month’s worth of Sunday dinners.

A picture speaks louder than words, so you can even send in a photo of your nominated sensational Sunday roast.

To enter the competition send your picture and a short reason why your nominated person “Boasts the Best Roast” together with your contact details, including name, address and daytime phone number, to sophie.wills@jpress.co.uk

The competition closes on Sunday, March 6 at midnight.

Steve Maxfield, manager of Crawshaws’ Worksop store, said: “We’re delighted to be launching our new Food To Go Butcher’s Kitchen menu.

“Shoppers and office commuters will be spoilt for choice from our fantastic range of offers.

“In celebration of this new menu, which is all prepared in store by our trained cooks, we’re also offering all shoppers who spend £15 on our fresh meat range, a £5 free pack of meat.

“Combined with our search for the ultimate Sunday cook, we really want to involve our community that we’ve been a part of for the last five months.”
