Two men and a woman were arrested in Whitwell on suspicion of importing controlled substances.
The arrests were made on Wednesday 4th September after police carried out warrants at an address and seized cash and what was thought to be drugs.
All three people were later released on bail pending further enquiries.
The arrests happened as part of Operation Impact, which has seen more than 135 people arrested in Chesterfield, Bolsover, Amber Valley and North East Derbyshire since it launched in May.
The campaign is aimed tat reducing burglary, theft and drug misuse.
Officers have also carried out more than 35 warrants across the area since the initiative began.
Sgt Simon Cartwright, who has been coordinating the operation said: “There have been more than 35 warrants and 135 arrests, of which over 50 were in connection with drug offences. Ten vehicles have been seized, and a large amount of suspected drugs has been taken off the streets.”
“Operation Impact is not coming to an end, as it will now be targeted to specific areas should they suffer a rise in crime.”
