The Guardian has captured on video the sink hole which has appeared in a Manton street today (Friday).
Authorities were told about the hole in Martlet Way at around 9.45am.
A cordon is in place around the hole, which is thought to be around 5ft deep and the road has been closed.
Although the hole on the surface may not seem large, the extent of the damage underground is not yet known.
Notts County Council’s emergency response team are at the scene.
Severn Trent have also been notified and are understood to be sending workers out tomorrow (Saturday).
