An East Midlands’ children’s hospice wants people in Notts to help bake a difference and raise some dough by holding a cake themed event.

As part of its 20th birthday celebrations, Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People has launched the Rainbows Great Birthday Bake.

The hospice, which cares for children and young people with terminal and life-limiting illnesses .

Caroline Rossin, Rainbows community fund-raiser in Notts, said: “Your event can be as little or large as you like, the only limit is your imagination. “

“If you want to do something more unusual, you could organise a bucket collection dressed in caked-themed costumes, or have a cake icing competition.”
