New strategy will help support former mining towns
Following the launch of its three-year strategy to MPs and stakeholders in Westminster, the Coalfields Regeneration Trust has clearly defined its objectives to meet with the many and varied challenges that continue to impact on the 5.5m people living within coalfield communities, including Worksop.
The Coalfields Regeneration Trust is the only organisation dedicated to supporting former mining towns and villages throughout the UK. The new strategy will provide an update on ‘what happens now’ and identifying objectives that have been defined over the last 15 years the organisation can focus on the issues that are having the most damaging impact on the communities.
