South Yorkshire police are no closer to solving the mystery surrounding the death of a 58 year-old woman in Maltby last month.
Val Walker was found dead at her home on Gladstone Road in the town, where she lived with her husband, early on the morning of 9th December.
A 60 year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of murder soon after the body was discovered.
He was subsequently released on bail pending further investigations.
However, almost a month later, no-one else has been arrested or questioned in relation to the incident.
Furthermore, initial forensic and post-mortem investigations of the body have failed to conclusively say how Mrs Walker died.
Instead, South Yorkshire police have said further post-mortem analysis will take place and all aspects of the investigation remain unchanged.
