A Dinnington teenager was left with a broken nose after being assaulted in Wickersley.
South Yorkshire Police are continuing to appeal for information after an 18-year-old was attacked at around midday on 24th August on Tanfield Way.
The man is said to have asked his partner to stop the car, belonging to his partner, in order to get out and make a phone call.
A black Audi A3 is reported to have approached in the opposite direction, and the driver found himself unable to pass the stopped vehicle.
The driver then got out of his car, approached the teenager while he was still on the phone, and punched him in the face.
The 18-year-old was taken to hospital, having suffered a broken nose and suspected fractured cheekbone from the blow.
Officers are now trying to trace the man driving the Audi. He is described as being white, approximately 6ft tall, aged between 27 and 28 years of age, of medium build, with shaved light brown hair.
