Blyth: Two people hospitalised after three car pile-up

 

Two people have been taken to hospital this morning after a three car pile-up.

Three fire crews from Harworth, Worksop and Tuxford attended with police and an ambulance at around 10am on Sunday to Sheffield Road, Blyth, Worksop.

It is believed one of the vehicles involved was attempting to turn right before the collision occured.

One person was released from a car before emergency services arrived and another was freed afterwards.

Both were then taken to hospital.

The road was closed for 45 minutes but is now open,
