BENEFIT FRAUD

Keven Holness, 52, Kipling Street, Mansfield. Failed to notify authorities of a change in circumstances which would have affected benefit eligibility. Fined £140 and ordered to pay £70 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

James Macmillan, 30, Morton Close, Mansfield. Caused another claimant not to notify authorities of a change in circumstances which would have affected benefit eligibility. Conditionally discharged for 12 months and ordered to pay £100 court costs.

DRUGS

Timothy Harrison Smith, 30, Colsterdale, Worksop. Possession of cannabis. Drugs recovered and destroyed, fined£150 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Simon Thomas, 38, Nottingham Road, Mansfield. Possession of amphetamines. Discharged conditionally, drugs recovered and destroyed. Ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.

ASSAULT

Paul Wilson, 29, Bishop Street, Mansfield. Assault by beating. Restraining order imposed against victim. Ordered to complete 80 hours of unpaid work under supervision, and ordered to pay £100 compensation, £250 court costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

Carl Feiner, 32, Alfreton Road, Pinxton. Assault by beating. Prison sentence of six weeks, suspended for two years.

THEFT

Thomas Andrew Duffy, 20, Katherine Road, Thurlcroft. Entered as a trespasser and stole power tools worth £12,000 - £15,000 from Platts Harris in Tuxford. Prison sentence of 16 weeks suspended for one year, 160 unpaid work under supervision. Ordered to pay £100 compensation, £85 court costs and an £80 victim surcharge.

Scott Walker, 40, Simpson Road, Mansfield. Stole children’s clothing. Community order imposed, ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

MOTORING

Alan Wilson Hardie, 64, Broad Lane, Hodthorpe. Speeding on A17. Fined £130 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge. Driving licence endorsed with penalty points leading to disqualification for six months.

Phillip Anthony Tuck, 22, Waterslack Road, Bircotes. Driving a vehicle with lights deemed not roadworthy and an illegal rear lamp. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

Luke Adam Pywell, 25, Clarence Road, Worksop. Failing to stop when instructed by a police officer, driving without an appropriate licence. Driving licence endorsed with three penalty points, fined £100 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Adam Derrick Holmes, 29, Grove, Retford. Speeding on A6097. Driving licence endorsed with four penalty points, fined £125 and ordered to pay £40 court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

Nicolad Langley, 44, Ringwood, Worksop. Driving while using a mobile phone. Driving licence endorsed with three penalty points, fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

TV Licensing

Kayleigh Baxter, 24, Kenilworth Close, Worksop. Using a colour television without a licence. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £90 court costs and a victim surcharge of £20.

Leanne Wallies, 32, Rufford Street, Worksop.Using a colour television without a licence. Fined £55 and ordered to pay £90 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Piotr Honek, 43, The Oval, Retford. Using a colour televsion without a licence. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £90 court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

OTHER

Liam Botcher, 40, Sherwood Avenue, Blidworth. Attempting to enter a building in order to steal. Conditionally discharged for 24 months, and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

Graham Worthington, 32, Station Road, Langwith Junction. Caused an unknown amount of damage to a motor vehicle. Fined £100, and ordered to pay compensation of £100 and a victim surcharge of £20.
