Appeal over A57 crash

POLICE are appealing for information about a crash on the A57 in Aston which left a man with serious injuries.

The accident happened around on Aston Way around 5pm on Monday 10th December.

A 23-year-old woman driving a black Vauxhall Corsa is believed to have hit the back of a silver Rover 45 which was in stationary traffic.

The Rover then went into the back of a silver Ford Ka.

The Rover driver was taken to hospital with a suspected fractured pelvis and leg.

The 23-year-old woman and 27-year-old woman driving the Ka sustained minor injuries.

Anyone witnesses are asked to contact the police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111, quoting incident number 857 of 10/12/2012.
