10km challenge in Walesy Forest

A national charity that supports families with children in hospital wants people to sign up for its annual 10km obstacle course in Nottinghamshire's Walesby Forest.

Taking place on May 8, the Whole Hog Challenge sees participants scrambling up steep hills and wading through muddy waters.

Teams of all sizes and abilities are welcome to apply.

Registration for the challenge is £25 per person plus a minimum sponsorship of £100. All money raised will go towards the charity.

Last year, it managed to look after over 7,000 families at its 14 Houses across the UK.

The Ronald McDonald House Charity is an independent charity that provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation for families who have children being treated at specialist hospitals across the UK.
