Visitors to Worksop will be greeted by bright and welcoming new signs along many of the major routes into the town.

There are eight signs in total and each features a unique design representing a landmark specific to that area.

Notts County Councillors have funded the series of signs and are unveiling them in each of their wards.

This one, on the way into Gateford, is typical of the new designs which are clear and colourful in style.

Pictured above are Coun Glyn Gilfoyle, Coun Alan Rhodes and Coun Sybil Fielding unveiling the latest sign this week. Look out for more on your way around town.
