CELEBRATIONS are being held all over Worksop, as excited teenagers tear open their GCSE results today.
At Portland and Valley in Worksop, Serlby Park in Harworth and Heritage in Clowne, pupils and parents waited anxiously on Thursday morning to see what news the brown envelopes would bring.
Teachers have praised students for their hard work over the last two years, while in turn, the young people have paid tribute to school staff for all their support.
Most are planning to stay in school, or head off to college to start A-Level courses, while others are swapping academia for the world of work.
