TENSE months of waiting for crucial A-level results were finally over today for students across Worksop.

And while there may have been disappointing news for some, there was a clear message of exam sucess, with many students gaining top grades.

At Valley and Portland schools in Worksop, and Serlby Park in Harworth, students have been opening those all important envelopes.

Many are off to start the next chapter of their lives at university, while others are off to work or apprenticeships.

Keep checking our website for news from all the schools.
