Two ducks and a swan dead at Langold Country Park

A SWAN and two ducks have been found dead at Langold Country park.

The three birds were spotted from across the frozen lake early on Sunday morning.

Marilyn Needham, who is park keeper at the Langold beauty spot, was horrified to make the discovery.

"I was very angry when I saw that the birds were dead, and I am very concerned that someone has done this deliberately ," she said.

"There was evidence of a barbecue on the side of the lake which was still red when I arrived at the lake on Sunday."

"It seems very strange that three birds are found dead on the same night that people are having a party on the lakeside."
