Police crackdown on underage alcohol sales

POLICE will be carrying out a test purchase operation in December to crackdown on licensed premises selling alcohol to underage customers.

Young people aged 15 and 16 will be visiting all licensed premises to attempt to purchase alcohol and if they sell it police officers will visit.
