'Magical' opening for Priory Centre

EXCITEMENT and a little bit of magic were in the air at the official opening of the new Priory Centre extension.

Harry Potter favourites Hagrid and Dumbledore were on hand to keep the crowds entertained, on Wednesdasy morning.

While a town crier heralding the opening of Marks and Spencer was shouting the good news to everyone on Bridge Place.

People soon came flocking, and huddled into the new extension, where John Burmester of Centenary Investments, and Bassetlaw Council chairman Coun Wendy Quigley, were giving opening speeches.

Mr Burmester praised the hard work of everyone involved in construction, and Coun Quigley said she was looking forward to doing some shopping.
