Children at Treetops Nursery enjoying painting using objects

CHILDREN at Treetops Nursery in Worksop have been busy making their mark with a variety of different-shaped objects.

The children in the Little Monkeys 1-2 years room have been exploring the paint with brushes and staff wanted to extend the activity further by introducing different objects such as rollers, shapes, fruit and transport toys.

Nursery nurse Debbie Smith said the children really enjoyed making lots of different marks.

“The children really enjoyed making lots of different marks, they had such fun with the brushes so we wanted to extend their learning further by introducing different objects,” she said.

“They particularly liked the shapes as we went on to look at shaped in the environment.”
