Job losses at Carlton factory
AROUND nine members of staff working at Peppers Warehousing at Carlton Forest have been told they are to be made redundant, the Guardian understands.
Bosses at the Blyth Road distribution centre broke the news to staff this morning, but have so far declined to comment.
"We turned up for work and just went about our jobs. Then some of us were called into the office and told we were no longer required. It was a real shock," said one worker from Worksop.
Despite repeated attempts by the Guardian, bosses at Peppers are yet to comment.
