A Worksop supermarket has raised money for a children’s charity.
The Gateford Asda store raised £500 for the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
Staff chose the hospice as their nominated charity and presented a cheque to Bluebell Wood fundraiser, John Bower.
John said they were ‘delighted’ to have the support of Asda.
“Every donation is important to us and very welcome, especially when it comes from the local community,” he added.
Asda service section leader Tracy Holland helped to organise the donation.
She said: “It’s been a pleasure having them as our nominated charity and we hope it helps.”
