Heavy rainfall ends heatwave

WORKSOP'S summer heatwave ended in abrupt fashion on Friday morning, as heavy rainfall brought back fears of flash flooding.

Pick up a copy of today's Guardian to read more about the flooding fears of residents who are still haunted by the events of 2007.
