POLICE have today (Wednesday) made a further arrest in connection with the death of a man found at farmland in Everton.

A murder inquiry was launched after the man’s body was discovered in Middle Cross Lane, between Harwell Sluice Lane and Everton Lane, on Saturday 2nd February.

A 22-year-old man from the South Yorkshire area has been arrested in connection with the death.

He is in custody along with four other people, a woman and three men, who were arrested on Monday.
