Driving ban

A WORKSOP man has been banned from driving for 12 months.

Andrew Peter Parker, 20, of Swinderby Close, admitted drink driving at Worksop Magistrates Court on Thursday.

Donna Fawcett, prosecuting, told the court Parker had been out with friends in Chesterfield on 27th January and had five or six pints.

At around 4am on 28th January he decided to drive home and collided with a stationary car on Gateford Road at 4.40am.

Police attended and he gave a reading of 46 mcgms alcohol in 100mls breath.
