Could you add just one more toy or gift to your Christmas shopping list?

If so then you could be helping children less fortunate across the county as part of the David Hawke Property Services and The Mortgage Shop Christmas Toy Appeal.

All you have to do is bring in a new toy or gift suitable for newborns and children up to the age of 16 to their office on Bridge Street.

Anyone who donates a new toy or gift will be entered into a raffle to win one of two £50 vouchers.

The closing date for donations is Monday 17th December after which the toys will be collected and distributed to vulnerable children across Bassetlaw.

Appeal spokesman Val Casey said they had been astonished by the generosity of Worksop folk and thanked them for what they had donated already.

She said they were still a way off their toy target and urged Worksop Guardian readers to do their part for the children.

Val added: “The gifts have to be brand new but can be for the ages from birth up to 16 years old, we particularly struggle for the older children.”

“There isn’t long to go now to the big day so please add one more toy or gift to your shopping list.”

“A big thank you to the staff at A1 Housing who have decided to support our appeal and our hero Dave Robertson of Wilkinsons has helped us once again.”

To make a donation just pop into the premises at 84 Bridge Street in Worksop and do your part to help.
