Carlton primary school pull out the stops for NSPCC
A CARLTON primary school has got behind our adopted charity to raise over £1,100 to help reach out to vulnerable children.
Pupils and staff took part in a sponsored walk within the school grounds, and they were able to present the cheque to NSPCC school fundraiser Emma Grishin.
She said: "Thanks to all the children at Kingston Park Primary for taking part in this fundraising activity, and raising over 1,100 for the NSPCC."
"This will go towards helping us in our work to end cruelty to children."
A spokesman from the school said: "The whole school got involved with the walk and the children really loved it. There was a brilliant response from the community."
