OK looks like my original post is not going to go up, so I will repeat the gist of it. These are very small amounts of Cannabis plants. Barely enough to keep a needy medicinal user supplied. Quite obviously not intended as a commercial operation these growers were simply making their best efforts to stop their hard-earned cash from going into the hands of gangsters and criminals. Very enterprising people who should be applauded rather than persecuted in this way.

I know of a six greenhouse set up in Sittingborne, kent which houses 60,000 high quality, high potency cannabis plants. It is fully licensed by the government. This cannabis is dried and all the active ingredients are bottled. It is cannabis in a bottle - nothing more - nothing less. The government are satisfied that this product is 'safe and effective' and promote it as such. Such hypocrisy. This war on cannabis users has one purpose - to protect the interests, and massive profits, of GW Pharmaceuticals and its investors.

why is dan still waiting? and mombagambo its actually 30tonnes a year them snakes get to grow. You have accomplished nothing here except waste more police time which should be used to catch criminals who hurt others, and give more people criminal records for growing a plant. You have took medicine who some people depend on. Right now this country is a disgrace sending winston mathews to prision for growing the medication that gives him the will to live his life. When will this country wake up spain, netherlands, france, germany, switzerland and parts of america can all use and buy herbal cannabis as a medication GW Pharma grow 30 tonnes of cannabis a year and use it to make hash oil which can be made at home, but they charge extortion prices. They are allowed to grow and sell it but us as citizens are made into criminals to grow the medicine for ourselves because the sativex costs too much. END PROHIBITION!!!

“Police will not tolerate drug cultivation or supply and will robustly take action against offenders." Unless your name is GW pharma. then you can grow 20 tons a year, make a whole plant tincture then sell it @ £400 for a months supply. Here's a little fact you a 6 times more likely to have a psychotic incident when high on alcohol than you are if you take cannabis. Drugs are bad mmmmkay
