Reader’s Letter: Thank you for moving service

We recently lost my dear sister Janet Jones after she was ill for over 12 and a half years. She was only 64 years old.

She said she wanted to be taken to her funeral in a white coach, pulled by two white horses and she got her wish last week.

I hope and wish she knew at the time. The moment she pulled up outside her home where the family were waiting what a splendid site it was, with the sun shining down.

A big thank you for the brilliant way Dolby Funeral Services of Worksop conducted the whole thing. They were magnificent, even down to the lovely touch of just before we pulled away, one of them put a pink rose in the door handle of my sister’s home and then bowed it was wonderful. Thank you also to the people of Creswell for showing their respects on our journey.

Worksop should be very proud to have Dolby Funeral Services, we cannot thank them enough.

Graham Haslam

(brother)

On behalf of the family of the lovely Janet Jones
