TJ Niblett, 14, is putting together an event to be held at Langold Lake next Friday (15th August) from 4pm to 10pm.

All money raised will go to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice which is the cause TJ’s house at Dinnington Comprehensive supports and for which she has raised money before.

But as well as helping the hospice, she also wants to help get the community together as one again.

“I just want to see people out there using the lake and enjoying it and give kids something to do and and a concert like this seemed the ideal way to achieve that,” she said.

Topping the bill will be Barnsley singer-songwriter Liam Madison, who has been playing the summer season in Skegness amongst other dates.

“He plays a whole range of songs, both new and old,” continued TJ.

“He plays about four different guitars in his set, so there should be something for everyone.”

Also on the bill are Lil’ Twist from Wales and TJ says more acts will hopefully be confirmed before the event.

As well as the music there will also be a barbecue.

Entry is £1 on the gate, which includes a raffle ticket.
