A Langold man who swore at police officers and told them ‘there are terrorists in Paris and you’re doing nothing about it’, has admitted being drunk and disorderly.

Luke Anthony Craven, 25, of Riddell Avenue, went on a tirade when the officers approached him outside a pub on Victoria Square in Worksop.

It happened at around 1am on November 15, just hours after the attacks in Paris.

Representing himself at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court he said he had nothing to say on the matter when asked if he wanted to explain his actions.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge, made to pay £150 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and a £15 surcharge.
