three children were rescued from a blazing house on Saturday night in Carlton.

A 41-year-old woman is in police custody on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.

Fire fighters from Worksop and Harworth were called to the house, in Canterbury Walk, at around 11.35pm on Saturday 15th January.

They rescued the children from an upstairs bedroom as fire ripped through the downstairs living room.

They were taken by ambulance to Bassetlaw hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation.
