Lincolnshire Police believe there could be a Halloween-themed rave or gathering planned for Saturday night in the county.
Police chiefs say the rural nature of the county means it can be an attractive venue for illegal raves.
Assistant Chief Constable Peter Davies said “We want to know if there is a rave or large gathering planned, where and when it is. If you have information about any large public gatherings, raves or similar events, or if you have suspicions about where or when an event could be taking place, please contact us.”
People with land and remote outbuildings are encouraged to check for any activity there during the afternoon and evening.
ACC Davies added: “I am really keen that everyone is able to enjoy their weekend, we have plans in place and can react to information we receive. I hope everyone enjoys and has a safe Halloween.”
