'˜I hate police men and women': Burglar scrawls note in kitchen after raiding home

Police have released an image of a note scrawled on the kitchen counter of a house which was burgled.

Cash, jewellery and an Ipad docking station were stolen overnight on Monday, December 26 from a property on Babworth Road, Retford.

The note reads: “Nothing personal I hate police men & women”.

All of the taps were also left running in the property.

They broke in by smashing a ground floor window.

The victims have no links to the police.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may recognise the handwriting or if anyone has any information that could help to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident 325 of 27 December.
