Making sure the homeless in Worksop have a Christmas meal thanks to donations from Nottingham based business.

Hope Community Services is a charitable organisation that supports individuals in crisis. It operates Nottinghamshire’s only 24/7 directly accessible hostel, where someone can knock on their door and get a bed for the night.

The food donations came from Face Recording and Measurement Systems Limited, based in the health and social care sector developing solutions that meet the collective needs of practitioners, patients and their carers and managers.

The boxes contained items such as pastas, sauces, chocolates, tinned beans and soups and will be for those within HOPE’s Emergency Accommodation Hostel this Christmas, and will help in providing necessary hot meals.

Hope’s CEO Alan Diggles said: “We are extremely grateful to Face for thinking about those in need. It’s especially important at this time of year, the demand for our services increases and sometimes having a regular hot meal can be something you overlook.”
