You normally find firefighters inside their fire engines but on Saturday a crew from Gainsborough did things a little bit differently.
Blue Watch pulled their 13 tonne fire engine through the streets of Gainsborough, raising £350 for the Firefighters Charity.
The six firefighters started at the Blues Club on North Street at 12.30pm. From there they went through Marshall’s Yard and did a lap of the town.
Their two and a half mile journey took them an exhausting three hours to complete. Helpers Mary Killelay, Sian Killelay, Nicole Richardson and Emily Eccleston collected money in buckets as they went round.
